For 64-bit apps and dlls, make sure you download the 64-bit compatible ResHack

• Photoshop: check photoshop wiki as guide for general steps
• Flash
  • CS3: ResHack the file “Adobe Flash CS3\en\Configuration\FlashResources.dll”; replace a swf file,
  • export SPLA > 1527 > 1033 as binary as swf file, then de-compile it
  • replace that resource with your new swf as Type:SPLA; Name: 1527; Language: 1033
• AfterEffects
  • CS3: ResHack the file “Adobe After Effects CS3\Support Files\AfterFX.dll”
  • PNG > AE_splash
• Illustrator
  • CS3: replace the files under “Adobe Illustrator CS3\Support Files\Contents\Windows\”
  • AI_Splash.png; AI_Splash_EE.png; AI_SplashEducation.png; AI_SlashTryout.png;
• InDesign
  • CS3: ResHack the InDesign.exe
  • 578→295; 578→298
  • Type: 578; Name: 294; Language: 1033
• Fireworks
  • CS3: ResHack the file “\English\resources\Fireworks Resources.dll”
  • bitmap > 2301
  • start page under “\English\movies\resources\images”

  • 2011: just replace “MayaStartupImage.png” under “Autodesk\Maya2011\icons”

    • bitmap > MAYASTARTUPIMAGE.XPM
• 3ds max
  • 2009: just replace “splash.bmp” under “Autodesk\3ds Max 2009”
