 +  * as high resolution camera sensor getting to 36MP, it already out resolve the resolution capability of old lens before year 2000, not to mention those manual focus lens in 80s and 90s.

 +  * unless you like the artifacts (fringes, fare, lack of sharpness, type of bokeh rendering) or maybe called characteristics, then you may consider interest in them, but those old lens are over-priced no matter what price they set, as the modern 2nd hand lens are better in all technical aspects with the advanced optical design and efficient manufacture process.

 +  * most old gears are marketed for its time, and their reputation still goes on through the salesmen's talk for their profit. Most them are only good for its look and history but actual functionality. Thus, their price can go anyway based on salesmen interest.

 +  * For auto focus, modern lens are no doubt better, for manual focus, modern manual focus are also better and available new. so those old manual focus are overprice no matter what in term of pure technical specs.
