  - go to this hidden setting page for Chrome <code>chrome://flags</code>
  - search ntp, and change "enable-ntp-popular-sites" and "enable-ntp-remote-suggestions" to disable

**Disable channel in wechat**
  * go to wechat setting > General > Manage Discover > switch off Channel, (Mini Programs, Top Story)
